A film enthusiast since early childhood, Andre gained production experience with home movies winning an award for his 20-minute thriller Exam, which he and childhood friend Vincenzo Natali made when they were only 15. Andre graduated to 16mm filmmaking with the short, Death Kiss, and then enrolled for a brief stint in the York University film program where he made the infamous Hellblazer. After receiving a BA in History and English from the University of Toronto and traveling in the former Soviet Union, Andre decided to pursue screenwriting full time. CUBE is his first produced script.
