Producer
|
CUBE is Betty's first feature film credit as a producer. After
graduating from Concordia University (Montreal) with a degree
in Communications, Betty moved to Toronto and began her career
at the CBC. With a long list of credits to her name from production
coordinating The Jim Henson Hour to producing the final season
of The Kids In The Hall Betty has
acquired an extensive background in film and television production.
Her first association with the Canadian Film Centre was to line
produce the short dramatic film Prey directed by Helen Lee. After
its completion, Betty was asked to manage the Centre's TV Drama
Programme, a programme designed for television writers and producers.
Prior to shooting CUBE, Betty completed producing 8 short films for the
Toronto Arts Awards.
