I believe there was a religious undertone to the movie. Worth-God: At the start Worth was just sitting back and watching everyone and their reactions, after Quentin started going crazy he sacrificed himself to try to save the others (trapping Quentin in the door and telling the others to hurry and leave, and at the end he sacrifaced himself to let Leven and Kasan go. As he died he formed the crucifycation pose. He layed down with his hands spread out and head tilted to the side, orinically with Leven at his feet like Mary at Jesus' feet.)
Quentin-Satan: He originally started out as a hero trying to lead the others-falsly. He eventually turned on them and used them only to benifit himself. His main enemy was Worth (God) who also beat him.)
Kasan was the one, I believe, most likley to survive. All the others were all consumed within themselves worrying what they were to do and only worried about themselves. Because of Kasan's disability he was the only one that was pure.
Colours also played a significant part. When you think Hell you think red, Heaven-white. The last room was red and the light outside was white.
They were all trying to escape from the Cube(Hell) and Worth(Satan).
These are just my thoughts. Please respond if you agree or even if you disagree. Love to hear anyones opinion!
